Outlook group contact reappearing after removal
One of my users has an Outlook group with 15-20 contacts in it. A terminated user's email address refuses to be removed causing email bounce backs. When removed from the group and refreshed the contact reappears after changes were saved. Keep in mind that other contacts have been added and removed without issue. I have attempted to remove the user via desktop app and OWA. Cleared web cache, cookies, etc. Account has also been fully deleted from 365 at this point yet the contact remains. How do I banish this contact?
o365 programs not recognizing Jabber for tel: links
I'm trying to set Cisco Jabber to be the default application in Win11 for the tel: protocol, specifically for Excel. The first time I tested this, clicking the link opened correctly in Jabber, but every time afterwards pops open a blank Edge browser. Swapping the default program to Teams or Skype for Business works fine, but breaks again as soon as I swap back to Jabber. The default is correctly listed as Jabber in the registry under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\callto\shell\open\command. The issue seems to be limited to Office, I've tried tel: links in PowerPoint and Word with the same results but trying a link from a web browser correctly opens Jabber. Anyone have any ideas as to what might be going on here?
Sharing a Planner Plan 1 plan with a guest user
Hi there, Looking for advice on what settings may be required to ensure that a guest user from another tenant can access a Planner Plan 1 plan which has been shared via a user in my tenant. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Guest user error message: "You do not have access to this plan. Ask any member to add you to the plan." Microsoft Planner Plan 1 user cannot share plan with guest user from another tenant Both users have Planner Plan 1 license assigned, the guest user has it assigned to their guest account on my tenant The Plan is shared in a Microsoft Team, of which both users are members The guest user has been added to the Plan The guest user has also tried opening the Plan directly via the Plan URL which was shared by the creator The guest user gets error message: You do not have access to this plan. Ask any member to add you to the plan." Other non-guest users from my tenant are able to access the Plan without any issues The guest user has selected their guest account from my tenant within their Teams app from their own laptop, and upon signing into the guest account, no Planner tab is listed for the user, and there is no ability to add it

Lists: Threshold error with filtered view (<5000 items)
Hi, I have a SPO List with ~40000 entries. To work with it I created a view which gives me less than 100 entries at a time. I can set a filter on a field called "localID" and also modifying the URL to have a different localID works for me (owner of the SPO site). However, other owner of the site are NOT able to use the list nor the filtered view. They get the famous threshold error. The permissions are not changed and are still the same as on the site level. Anyone else encountered this behaviour and how did you overcome it? Best regardsOffice.js preview features release
Office.js for PowerPoint has had a couple of preview features (getImageAsBase64, getSlideAsBase64) in preview now for nearly a year. I've done my best to search for any updates from the office.js on release timeline for these features with no luck. These two API calls are super convenient and enable features in the add-ins for PowerPoint which is near impossible to create using alternative solutions. Anyone out there with any knowledge on when we can expect these beta/preview features to be production ready?Open in Read-Only mode pop-up option.
Good morning, I propose that MS developers add a new option to the contextual menu for document handling, which would be especially useful for online work. Hi everyone! I have come across a requirement where the client would like to use an excel spreadsheet, a service account and application registration to manage group membership for a confidential group. They would like to create a group from which the members cannot leave, see other team members and cannot see the group itself. Now, I have the concept of the flow with me but for the life of me, I cannot get around to finding/configuring a group that meets the requirement. Have you guys come across this sort of scenario?
